"I'm honoured to be the patron of Breast Cancer Now West Midlands - Sutton Coldfield Group. It has been such a pleasure to get to know the wonderful women who play such a vital role in spreading awareness of this disease that effects so many women in the UK. It is a charity that is very close to my heart and I'm so touched to have been asked to get involved in spreading their TLC message. (Touch Look Check). Many people hear the words 'Breast Cancer' and immediately associate it with older women however the women at Breast Cancer Now are very passionate about spreading their message amongst a younger demographic as it is prevention and being aware of how your life choices can impact your risk of having the disease that is extremely important.
It's great to lend a hand to such an inspirational group of people who have already raised over £800,000 for Breakthrough and Breast Cancer Now and their message is fast spreading. It's something everyone can get involved with whether it's raising some 'dough' with their Great Pink Bake-off or sharing your musical side in 'Busking for a Breakthrough' there's something for everyone."
